Africa E-Mobility Week 2025 marked a transformative moment for sustainable mobility on the continent, bringing together high-profile leaders, industry pioneers, investors, and policymakers to accelerate Africa’s transition to electric mobility. The week was filled with powerful milestones and strategic partnerships that will drive the future of transportation in Africa. Africroozes Panel on Last Mile Cargo was ine of the event’s defining highlights.
We were proud to take part in this year’s Africa e-Mobility Week—a powerful gathering of innovators, policy leaders, and ecosystem builders shaping the continent’s sustainable transport future. Representing AfricroozE, we shared our experience deploying solar-powered e-bikes and mobile E-Hubs across Uganda, designed to meet the real mobility needs of rural and secondary urban communities.

How locally assembled e-bikes are reducing transport costs for farmers, health workers, and students Why solar charging infrastructure is key to scaling e-mobility in off-grid regions. The importance of inclusive design and financing models, including lease-to-own and rental systems. The transformative role of projects like Women on Wheels in driving both access and equity Africa e-Mobility Week reminded us that the future of clean transport isn’t just electric—it’s local, collaborative, and deeply tied to community empowerment.
